Could Someone Please Clarify These New Changes?

Coud someone please explain the new changes that are going on within Psych Central? I noticed the catagory listed as "announcements" and now I do not even know the correct day that the Doc is going to be in the chat room. You know instead of making a million and one posts within a catagory, you should simply have made a list catagorizing the new changes because you sure confused me totally. Can someone just devise a list with all the new changes and the date to which the changes are going to take effect?

(Wizzard... I don't think that there really were that many changes other than moving the Announcement forum to the top of the page. But, more importantly, remember that this is a free site. It's not very polite to complain when the owner of the site was trying to improve things that serve us as guests; you could phrase your request differently and still be respectful)

Wizzard I am glad you brought this up..I thought that was a new area ..I think he moved it OUT of General...I think he is in chat on tuesdays and I read your post as just being lost and frustrated and not as a complaint..Yeah it threw me and I was like..wow was that like that all along lol

It used to be on the bottom of the page, near Technical Support, I think

Chat is still on Tuesdays. I don't know why moving the Announcements forum to the top would cause thinking that chat nights would change.

That's the only change that's been made. It's not a new forum. It's been here for quite some time. It's just been moved to the top as it's important for members to know when there are announcements regarding the site, and it especially helps new members. Also, if you'll note, all of the threads within the Announcement Forum are not new posts.

Since there's only been the one change, I don't think a list is needed.

docjohn just moved our original annoucement forum to the top for viewing more easily. He did move a sticky post from General into it (Meet The Mods and Admins), but that's it I think.

Yeah - it took me a minute to figure out what had happened, too, but it's not exactly the worst thing that has ever happened to me... ;p

Thanks Kim and LMO I don't care that he did that lol I was just almost all day..thinking was that there before heheheh no kidding...I think it actually makes more sense to move ALL tech and announcement stuff so its seen FIRST thing when coming in a site but lol whew I feel semi...semi sane again
