My sanity score is 148. I need help. The soonest I could get an appointment is April 7. I will not go to the ER because I have been abused in ER's in the past. I can't access chat because I haven't posted 5 times.

Well, the info on the side says I have posted 7 times. I guess I just haven't cleared the moderators yet.

Please try to contact the Intake Coordinator at your T's office. Let them know it is urgent and you are experiencing the feelings you are feeling. They should be able to squeeze you in for an Emergent situation. Please keep posted.

Also, if you'd like, feel free to email me. I was diagnosed to cPTSD recently and am working on it. When I got back into Therapy a few months back, I was in crisis.
Thanks for this!

I told them I would probably be dead by April 7. They didn't care. I'm not all that suicidal. I'm just acutely miserable. They didn't care about that because there is no legal liability for being miserable.

You are so kind to respond. I really appreciate it.

Of course. And we CARE! Perhaps you can find another T (counselor). If you tell someone you are suicidal ("probably be dead by April 7th") and they flat out ignore you or tell you they don't care, it's time to go to someone else.

I don't know your history but are you saying you think you will be deceased due to a broken heart / acute misery by April 7th (and not by your own hand)?

You are important. This is important.

My son took his own life 7 months ago, and now myself and my other children are all suffering.

My son and I cry everyday, I can't sleep, I can't think, I have to take a day a week off of work because I can't stop crying.

Please do not do what my son did. When you think about taking your own life, think about the people that love you who will be left behind when you are gone.

Your life doesn't just belong to you, it belongs to all the people who's life you touch.

Tennile, Glad you're here at PC!

Just wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of your son.
Posting your story is brave & gives perspective of everyone left to grieve.

You have my deepest sympathy.

(((Femmefire))) Try and hold in there as long as you can. We all care about you and we all want you to be safe. You can and will get through this.

Try looking around for other appointments. You might have to start with a new T, but it might be worth it. I know I could get a T appointment in a week with my old T, so maybe your T is just unavailable and it's time to find a new one. I think it's highly inappropriate for someone to sluff off someone at risk of sui, and I don't think you're going to run into it again. If you do... well... then I've lost faith in humanity.

Last thing. If it does get bad enough, do go to the ER. I know you were mistreated there before, but you might have better luck this time, and if you are seriously considering killing yourself, its better than dyeing. (Even if you don't see it that way).

We love you and are here for you femmefire. Best of luck.
