Hi.. I was just wondering if there was any place where you I could fin out what exactly the diagnosis numbers mean? I know they diganosis you and put in certain catergories. Just wondering what those particualr numbers mean??

The numbers indicate the general diagnosis (like 296 is for major depression) and associated details, such as severity. For instance.....
296.32 = Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent, Moderate These codes are documented in a big fat book called the DSM-IV TR which is used by everyone in the mental health field. |
