Hi all,

Recently I've been having some concerns. First off, I made a dumb move and tried one tab of LSD for the first time back in September and had a really bad (and prolonged over 12 hour) trip. When I came down I eventually went to bed and felt all right for the next couple of weeks. In November I started experiencing panic attacks and depersonalization which was terrifying to say the least. Since around Thanksgiving most days and nights (but not all) when I close my eyes I willfully or not experience the same kinds of closed eye visuals I did during my bad trip. Cartoons mutating and nonsense images and sometimes strings of words (all stuff I experienced during the trip) I end up feeding it and it just gets more bizarre plus some times my bodily perception is a little out of whack-This mostly happens when I trying to go to sleep at night but I can "will" this stuff to happen any time of the day. I mean creepy, nonsensical cartoons. I also get floaters and visual "snow"...

I am diagnosed with pure O (just mental thoughts) OCD and am idiot for taking this but I am concerned this is turning into something terrible. I drink often and am done for a while. I am on no meds currently and as far as I know schizophrenia does not run in the family though depression/anxiety does.

I am going to tell my psychiatrist next week.

I am at the end of my rope and any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

The only thing I can suggest is what you plan to do - consult with your treatment providers. they are the only ones that can treat you for the residual affects /side effects from taking drugs. they can help you get into programs like AA and NA which deal with drugs and alcohol.
