With the probable suicide of Junior Seau, it boggled my mind how some newscasters kept wondering how he could have killed himself when he was seen smiling a few days before his death. They didn't seem to understand that some people have to put up a facade just to get through the day. I hope what comes out of this tragedy is that people will become more enlightened about depression. and that more people will seek help if they need it. Rest in peace Junior.
Thanks for this!

A couple of hockey deaths lately as well. They've been looking into head injuries[repeated concussion for example] in heavy contact sports a lot lately. The accumulated damage may have some connection to being susceptible to depression or some similar mental issue.
