Hi everyone, I've been going screwy trying to figure out how to centre text, the UBB code should be [ center ] text [ /center ] (without spaces), but it doesn't seem to work, does anyone know what it is I am doing wrong.
I'm starting to feel completely stupid, that should work, is it just me going bananas? Peace be with you all......... Fox |

Yup! The words should be enclosed in < > instead of [ ]

I should be more clear... the word "center" should be within the <---> As in < center > and < /center>

<center> Ok I know the other way doesn't work, as it's how I say nothing.</center> You've known this all along and didn't tell me? Why didn't you correct the admin so it would be spelled out for them, too?

Oh I was just going by what was told me hehehe http://forums.psychcentral.com/faq.php?Cat= It doesn't use anything but colons and brackets.
![]() Can I use html in my posts? There are 2 ways that this can be configured on a per board basis. If HTML is On then you will see HTML is On and you can use normal HTML in your posts. If UBBCode is on you will see UBBCode is On. </div></font></blockquote><font class="post"> ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() All I know is that < > are HTML codes and so are [ ]. The latter work for posting images and such and the < > work for formating a document. To tell you the truth, I've forgotten more than I learned about HTML and never really got into learning UBB Code but to me, it's very similar to HTML. ![]()
