I've been searching with google, yet again, for a suitable forum to post a larger quantity of my 'My Broken Verse'.
I've been doing this search off'n'on for well over a year now, to no avail. I've found some sites but invariably I find them unsuitable for my needs, I'm going stark staring bonkers these days. Most of the sites I've tried are used by teen-goths, I have no problem with this, except they have little to contribute in terms of constructive criticism on those sites.
I'm not looking to be 'picked to pieces', my feeble attempts at writing wouldn't stand the brutal critics attacks. Having no proper education, my grasp of language use is extremely limited. I want my writing to paint vivid pictures in peoples minds as they read, my humble attempts thus far have been little more than puerile scribbing.
I guess I'm looking for a site where I can be educated in the art of writing whilst having the ability to post my work without being beaten senseless for not being a perfect writer.

This site is populated by many well educated and versatile people, I am wondering if I can get some advice about this matter here. Do any of you know of such sites on the net, and if so, where oh where are they?
Any guidance would be warmly received, peace and well-being to one and all........

Have you tried this site yet?

Underground Voices

It's not for teaching but sometimes the best way to "learn" or at least see if your writing measures up, is to look at the styles of others.

You might be able to email someone who was published and ask them to take a look at your writing or ask them if they could suggest a website to join. You'd be surprised how helpful people can be. (Especially if you compliment there writing)

There is a place on that site for submissions. There is nothing to be lost for submitting. Nothing at all.

I may have some more sites bookmarked. If I stumble across them, I'll send them your way.
