((((((((((((((((((Skittles))))))))))))))))))

Dont let this get you down. It happens to the best of us. Even if your the most skilled and attentive driver. I know that $125.00 is alot of money but dont beat yourself up too bad.

Is there a possibility to take driving school instead of paying the fine? It's a one time thing, I do believe... all day long and boring as all heck... but you won't have to put out the money and it won't go on your record.

Hi Skittles
I got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago myself, I was driving home late at night and going 15 miles over the limit on a road where everyone usually is flying past me. However, I still got pulled over and the cop wrote me a ticket and took my license, then told me I could pick it up the next day when I paid my fine at the police station and it wouldn't go on my record.

I was so mad because I am always a considerate and safe, defensive driver, and the one night I am speeding I get a $75 ticket, then when I finally find the police station they tell me it's $95 because it's $20 over for each mile or something like that. I just paid the fine and now I watch my speed, yet everyone continues to fly past me. Oh well, I guess cops have to get their quota in and it was the end of the month. I just felt like saying what about all the other people who drive like idiots and nearly kill me everyday? But instead, I just smiled and was polite and accepted my responsiblity. Don't want to go to jail, lol, that would really stink. I used to have a friend who back-talked every cop she came into contact with, hmm I haven't seen her around for a while!

Anyway, I understand your frustration and I hope your boyfriend didn't get too upset, it happens to the best of us and could have been so much worse.

Take care!
Sujin
