The Sleeps Fund is now closed. Thank you all for your support. She raised $600 in direct funds and $950 in funds through the site and Paypal.

The community response to Sleeps has been absolutely amazing!!!!! You folks never cease to reaffirm my faith in humanity and the human-ness in us all.

Please don't close your hearts to other, as I suspect this won't be the last time we pass the hat for a community member here.

Also, anytime we post a request, please take into consideration your own situation and how much -- if any -- you can afford to give. Never give more than you can afford, and always feel free to give nothing but your moral support. That means a lot to those who are looking for financial support, too.

I am astounded ..I need some time to come up with an adequate way to thank you all for everything.....and I got some good news today ..on top of all....this...I am just blown away by all this. You have no clue how you saved me I have had family ...mom and dad who once would not help me with an emergency medical issue so I am use to doing and going on my own..then...I meet you all ...God bless you all and give me till late tonight please

I don't think I will *ever* find the right words...I am not as eloquent a speaker/writer as some of you are. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of all of you who have supported me in ANY way be it monetary, well wishes. prayers ..letters of support....sympathy....whatever you did for me..I saw,I noticed and was/am touched by it ..and YOU ....You have given me that ability to be able to hold on till that GOOD thing comes about..The thing I alluded to in another thread...I WILL be on my feet again solid ground in the not to distant future....because of YOU I will not lose my house or car and have food and meds..
I am so grateful and will pay this forward to someone else in need when the time comes that I can do so..I dont think that will be so far away now
A special thanks will ALWAYS be there to the ones who came up with the idea and took it to Dr John to help me..and to Dr John ....I just cannot thank you enough and now I can step into this new thing the big life altering big thing...Keep please praying, wishing me well on my health...THANK YOU ...just thank you ...sorry I cannot say this much better but you have no idea what all this collectively has done to improve my life LONG TERM

Reading this thread brought tears to my eyes. It's amazing what people can accomplish as a group when they believe in something.

Sleeps, I don't know the exact nature of your problems, and I hardly know you. I do believe though you have been one of those who actually have made me feel liked and unshunned. Because of that I really wished that I have read this sooner as I see that the donation thingy is closed.

So even if it is closed, It's not REALLY!

However still , I would like to contribute to you in any way possible. Whether it be monetary, spiritual or emotional I would like to help you in your time of need.

I can't afford much as I struggle just as much as the next person, however I do believe that anyone can find money when needed. No one owns it, it is attainable. ANd I would love to find some to share with you....SO how do I do this?

Please tell me how I can donate to your fund, even though closed. Do you have a paypal account? Otherwise I would be more than happy to send you a check/money order.

I did get the check and its in the bank for the 28th when lol that lady from the mortgange company set a pmts to go out...hahahah now she WILL think I was lying when I said I didnt HAVE it ...but ya know what I know the truth and thats all that matters....You all saved me and man that check got here fast...my car...the house and so much..keep up the prayers please..and well wishes..I have another medical deal semi soon but all looks good
