Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know I will be away for a bit and will explain when I get back. I'm in the middle of a move out of state and the physical toll the packing and pitching has taken on me has set me back what feels like months in my physical illness. My home health nurse came out today to change my catheter dressing, looked at all the boxes, said "Did you do that all yourself, or get help?" and I said I did it all myself. She scowled and said, "Are you PURPOSELY trying to kill yourself?!" Well -- no --- but when you live alone, you do what you gotta do -- which, in my case, is to make me feel as bad as I did in 5 weeks in the hospital, near death.  My computer probably won't be set up till Monday at the new place (my sister's house). I can use theirs till then, but I don't plan to do anything but sleep for a while. I can't believe I even got out of the house today to come to school and get on a computer (mine is packed and I haven't had Internet for weeks anyway, for lack of cash to pay the bill). I hope everyone is doing OK and I will check in when I feel better. Love to all, Candy |

Ok, I won't yell. But you'd better still be in one piece when you get to your sister's place.

Candy please take care of yourself too. It won't do you any good to have to go back to the hospital. Be careful I don't want to see you hurt.

Oh Candy, how I wish I either lived closer or had my own private jet. I am so sorry you overdid in addition to a large change in your life. Resting is good. Explain to sis what nurse said and then let her get the serious medical info from the docs so she is not pressuring you to do more then you are able. Please be kind to yourself. I would like to see you stick around.

Make the best of the situation, it might give you a breather so you can think of a better solution! Keep us all updated (now, get on those heating pads!)

Just popped by to check in -- once I leave the library in a few minutes, I won't be back till possibly sometime over the weekend, maybe Monday. Wish me luck with this stupid move I don't want to make, and I'll catch up with you all soon.

Since 10:00 this morning, roughly 12.5 hours ago, I have: Packed a car, a truck and a trailer, driven 4.5 hours, and unloaded a car, a truck and a trailer.
I'm going to bed now, and when I wake up in a week or two, I'll regale you with tales of the journey. People have told me for years that I should write a book. I have a trilogy forthcoming based solely on this week! But, I'm here, for better or worse I dunno yet. I'll catch up when I'm rested! Love, Candy |
