It takes time to learn to trust. Thank you for posting here on PsychCentral (PC), that can be very hard for many people to do. It's a very good first step.

Trust is built usually.. trust can take time--

Trust can take a long time, especially if you have things from the past that has distorted what trust is....

many hugs to you.

Do you have someone on the professional side of things that you can talk to? I know even that has trust there, to go talk to a therapist or a Pdoc, but it is good to remember that most of the people that get into that field want to help others with issues for others to live a better life.
