There is so very much you can do when you stop being so consumed with what you can't do. There are so many opportunities and possibilities to explore when you stop worrying about your shortcomings and disappointments.

Good thinking Sept! That falls into my "accepting oneself fully" file.

To apply it personally: I can't change that I'm disabled. I can become very angry, very frustrated whatever! at times but that won't change that fact. I feel as though I have tried everything to find something I can do, and can't see/find anything. Now, I have quit struggling (mostly) to find something "to do" and am trying to "just be" ... it's very difficult to realize there's a different path for me, especially when I can't see it!

{{{{{{{{Sky}}}}}}}}}}} "For we walk by faith and not by sight."

To "just be" is a very pleasant place to be, dear friend!

There's just too much whining and PETTINESS!!!

Go ahead! Steep in it!! I'm outta here to a place I can enjoy my day!! Outside the Wall Outside the Wall Outside the Wall Outside the Wall

Tomi, I am really sorry!! But you know, I can only agree that despite the struggle to stay on top, it just seems to not be worth it.

Shucks - I don't even know what to say that will be totally understanding and supportive. Saying that I hope your day gets a bit better and that you will be able to enjoy it seems so lame.

But, well ...... I .... uh ... hope and wish for that all the same.

Sabrina, your words are never lame, Hun! Outside the Wall My day DID get better as a matter of fact. I got my fat fanny out of the house and had lunch with my best friend. Must have been wound up because I gave us the giggles and I started to choke on whatever it was I had in my mouth. My friend isn't very loud, like I am, but the tears were rolling from laughing at me. Oh, my! LOL

Sometimes you just gotta get "outside the wall," ya know?? Outside the Wall Wish you'd been with us!!

outside the wall I have created over the years I can remember that I want to live simply, low impact on the earth, and with kindness. It doesn't mean working till I am frazzeled and having toys, it means valuing family and rituals and time together. It means eating consciously and using resources carefully. I can remember what I was about before I was caught up in the world. So these simple words Sept mean to me that I can change and be and do and love. Thank you.

Angie has some the funniest sayings, doesn't she? Outside the Wall Brings back the time we used to live out in the country. Sometimes late at night, when I was about to drop off to sleep, I could hear one of the chickens in my chicken coop let out with a loud sqwak. You know? It very well could have been a racoon grabbing a feather and plucking it! Outside the Wall Outside the Wall
