not sure if this has been posted, but it's damn cool article.

I often joke that we used to have anarchists, now we just have people suffering from ODD.

But what shall we do if the whole worls is sick and broken beyond repair?

A bit overdrawn, it seems to me.

"Having steered the higher-education terrain for a decade of my life, I know that degrees and credentials are primarily badges of compliance."

Really? Primarily badges of compliance? Really?

I don't have a problem with authority, just the abuse of it...

Yes, they are badges of compliance. Hear what this valedictorian says:

I am writing a paper about why the world already is sick and beyond repair... Or actually it is about why it has already ceased to exist... and one of the reasons for that is that many of the people who would normally be the repairers are themselves broken by the system. And yes, I think I was diagnosed with either ODD or conduct disorder.

I've been told I have this "problem"... but it's just I want some control over MY OWN life... yanno.

And they act like you need to be humbled...

I've not really seen it in this way but I guess I'm really very anti authority and they hated it.. And I've always wondered why some people want to be controlled.

Thank you so much for this... I never understood how people could just take someone's opinion on what someone should do/how someone should act as unequivocal fact. It's ridiculous how the fewer brain cells someone has, the more likely they are to be deemed "sane". ******** coincidence, hm? I'd say so.

I also greatly enjoyed the other article he linked to:

No real comment at this time but subscribed
I find that article and theory very interesting.
Does seem to be painting with a really broad brush though. Or maybe not... how much difference is there between medicating the masses and "opiating" them with consumerism, religion, pop culture and techno gadgetry
But Venus... when was the world (society/civilization) ever healthy and well?
