Im not good at these things. The dead dont bother me. But being hugged and talked to does. Or giving condolences. And people think Im odd cause I dont cry at funerals. I dont know why I dont but I dont. And half the town is gonna be packed in that tiny little church. If this wasnt my husbands best friends service I wouldnt go. I know it sounds selfish, but Im uncomfortable with grieving people. Well, people in general, really. Im having serious people anxiety. Church anxiety. And sadness for my good buddy.

I think alot of people are like that, i hate funerals, especially wakes, it takes alot out of a person. Stay strong and this will pass too.

It's not that strange to have those kind of feelings. Funerals are tough, especailly, if you are close to the person. Having anxiety issues makes it worse. Hang in there; make sure you take deep breaths. And remember it will be over soon.

Made it thru. It was really hard. Emotionally draining.

I'm glad to hear that you went to the funeral, and it's all over now. Good job! Thanks also for letting us know.

I hope that you're feeling a little better now as well.
