We went to the store together, she sometimes cuts in line and people would call us out on it, she did it today, it's like she doesn't realize it. She would take things she wants and go back and switch, many times, if it's food shopping we would take forever, because of taking things and putting it back. When she asks a question, she would get very close to your face and stare until she got her answer and/or fully understood, if she doesn't she will just stare and get close to your face. The staring is sort of annoying when you're around her because she would ask how to search on google, again and again when she should know the answer because she browses on it every day

She's my mother. She "drives around" everyday, 'to the stores' she wanted me to take her to a specific favorite bookstore because she needed to get books for my cousin, I said the store was closed down but she made me go anyway and yes it was closed. it's like she forgot. we had to drive the other way to another bookstore. She eats my friends food when she comes over, and she buys the exact same thing everytime, when I ask her why she says 'I want one too' I just think it's weird behavior. We're not financially stable, I try to make her apply for the place I work for but she doesn't want to, she wants to work as an executive assistant for the state, but she doesn't have any experience and haven't worked at all in her life. Honestly I don't think she can land a job like that in this crowded city. she just looks at her facebook and people's profiles all day in her computer

She sometimes snaps and would get angry for nothing. She doesn't work, but the house is very messy, I do a lot of the cleaning, dishes, wash the dishcloths, clean the bathroom its gross bc nobody cleans it, I had to buy soap because she doesn't use any, she puts dishes with food still on it and we wonder why the dishwasher broke she puts utensils back with old food still on it. We had rat problems and she blamed me. She still sneezes on dinners and when I say cover it she says "its ok it's cooking " or "it will help your immune system" or would snap.

Back then it was worse, when she fed everyone very fatty foods, me and my siblings were obese, my father developed diabetes, she would slap and hit our new dog in the head, bathe him every single day with pert-plus because he still smelled 'like a dog' well he is a dog. there was a lot of emotional abuse, during family t (because my sister did something) the t would choose my mom and she would get red-faced grind her teeth, and yell at my sister

Im just wondering what can she have, growing up I just thought she was a mean person. I'm curious of what other people think
Thank you for reading

i don't know... the obsessive personality (asking over and over about google, buying the same things every day, washing the dog every night) almost sounds like aspergers... they are known for having very finecut interests and sticking to them where it is almost obsessing. The getting in your face, and buying everything she sees friends eating- ppl with aspergers are also known to have troubles socially... I'm not educated enough in aspergers to really tell, but I don't know what else to say. It doesn't sound like any mental disorder that I've learned about...

From the description, yea something. What, I don't know. Some people are born with slight brain damage, could affect them later in life. Could be something else.
