OK... Number One is that in June, I was referred by a psychologist to the Community Mental Health Team... Well... I didn't get any notification that they actually got the referral but I (im)patiently waited until the end of last month when I sent an email asking if there was any way of tracking my referral's progress. Nothing. They didn't even reply to that. (I get phone anxiety so I'm avoiding that). I could be sitting here like an idiot and they aren't even processing the referral. I can't afford that!

Number Two is a different issue... There's one trivial little thing, pretty daft, that drives me up the wall. Every time I see it, it's like fingernails down the blackboard of my soul and makes me want to throttle people (metaphorically...). I don't know what to do about it... I don't know how to desensitise myself to it so that it doesn't bother me. Hell, I don't know why it bothers me so much in the first place!

Hi pandoren - Im not sure what to suggest for number two, if its something thats happening frequently on here or chat than just use the block/ignore options. As for number one i would ask your psychologist to chase up the referral - these things can take time so either write to your local CMHT if you can't call them or write/visit the psychologist. I feel the best thing for you to do would be to phone them - my CMHT are always very helpful and easy to get hold of but if you can't do this personally could a member of your family do so instead? Im not sure if the CMHT could give details to someone about another persons referral so the person calling might have to a) pretend to be you, not ideal i know but sometimes needs must or b) explain that as a family member they're concerned because they know you need treatment and want to chase this up because you're unable to phone at the momement yourself. Sorry if ive not been much help. All the best.

No, it's not something that happens on here. I don't really come here that much now.

I haven't seen the psychologist since June either. I might have to somehow contact her again if I can't get hold of the CMHT. No, no family members to help. That is to say, none of their business. I might send another slightly stronger worded email first.
