This is kind of weird, kind of funny and I guess kind of odd.

For my job I go into the homes of elderly as their social worker. Well I've noticed a lot of my client's falling asleep during my visits. I've thought well it's their medications or something along those lines. Well yesterday one of my client's explained why she falls asleep during my visits with her. She said that a lot of times she can't sleep because of anxiety and stress. That she just stays up most of the time. She said when I come to visit her that she becomes relaxed and calmed by my visits. She told me that I'm just a calming person to be around and she feels completely at ease when she talks to me. She said how sorry she was that she falls asleep while I'm there. But I make her so relaxed that she can't stay awake.

I put people to sleep I guess this is a good thing. I'm glad I can put people at ease. But stop snoring on me people !!!!

((((((((( Monty girl )))))))))))

I loved your story.

It shows that you are a special person, to be able to help people feel relaxed is a real gift!

....and you have a sense of humour too! I put people to sleep

What a wonderful talent you have! In the several months now I've been traversing the social services world because of my health, I've yet to run into a non-rude or hostile social worker -- pat yourself on the back! I put people to sleep

I think it's great that you're such a soothing influence on people who sure could use some soothing.

Relaxed is good, but I think I'd get annoyed if people fell asleep on me all the time. I might throw in something controversial to keep things lively.

Or maybe yell suddenly, "Shark! Shark!"
