sobeys isint open tomorow to get my RX refilled
and so, because of that, I tried going to shoppers to see if I had any left there. I do, but they expired a month ago
So, they wont even fill one pill
and she told me the only other option is to go to the ER tomorrow and wait to see a doc so he can prescribe me one pill.
so , knowing the hospital on a mon thats a holiday
I will wait maximum time cause theres nothing wrong with me
So ill probably wait 8-10 hours for one pill.
its the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard.

They refuse to even fill one pill for me to do me until my pharmacy is open tuesday. And nothing else is going to be open. Damnit.

I am so SORRY for you.... but it is true that a Rx is only good for one year from the date that it is written, you must call in your last refill before that date.

If I may ask? - what is the medicine for? - can you take something in place of it that might work for a day?

Can you run to the local store and buy some VALERIAN? - I feel that it will help you through until you get your meds. Call your doctor or pharmacy and make sure it will not interfere with any others medicines you are taking.

Good Luck............................

YES Rainbow.... I do think (and know) that it will help.... but please get the advice of a pharmacy tech or your doctor if you are on other meds.
I personally take the VALERIAN in between the use of my Celexa (for anxiety and mood swings) and it works GREAT!!!! - I would not be without it and it is great for helping one sleep at night.

Good Luck.................

(((rainbowzz))) glad it worked out for you.

I have lots of meds and I make it a habbit (almost a rule) to get a refill when I know I have a few weeks left. That way, I won't run out - only the pharmacy will. Aggravated!

I wish i could do that Aggravated! The problem is I can only afford to fill them seven days at a time with my disability, so I am going there once a week.

That sux. Are you on the provincial drug plan? There's gotta be something to supplement it and to make it easier.

I tried to get on it - and you know what they told me!

because i make 724.00 a month I make too much. I would have to make under 475.00 and be eligible for social assistance before I could get help. It seems odd to me, does it seem odd to you? seems awfully low. Aggravated!

Rainbowzz, glad they're open.

It sucks that you can't get any help. I know for me being on SSI I'm eligible for medical assistance in the states and I get $630 a month. I'm sorry that they won't help you out any.
