yup,i said "yes" to the engagement. Fed-Ex delivered the goods. then he decided that he wanted me to go look at rings and just hold on to the one he sent. so, i sent pics and info and this morning he said he wanted to "go all out"..........
 we're meeting at Tiffany's in Dallas. i am absolutely and totally floored. his job is taking him to a city that is about 80 miles from where i'm moving. no wedding in the near future. i won't committ to that. my plate overfloweth right now. he's  with it. this man has been in my life 5 years and i guess it was love at first sight. we met online, literary message board, then went to Mexico for a vacation.....stayed in different casitas. we've had one major tiff and i dated for awhile. other than that, we've been happy as clams........if there ever is a wedding, it will be on a beach, barefoot and no one but us.....he's been making plans for it for the last year. we'll see. he makes me laugh more than any man that i've known. i mean belly laughs........ribs sore the next day laughs. and he's quite a bit younger than i. his mom is 9 years older than me. woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopat/ethel/colleen (his name for me) |

That sounds about right to me... as men tend to die 10 years prior to their female partners! hehehe as long as you enjoy the same things, and can talk about the same subjects.. that is good!
you don't wear pantyhose at the beach!!!!! so what beach?
