Second, posting it here, on a posting board, starts a thread. People discuss things on threads. It's not off-topic to discuss what you posted.

I disagree. It's a thread that suggests complaining to the FCC about things you find indecent on tv. case closed.

You can disagree all you want, but a thread on a forum is for discussion. You can do what the post says, but you can also discuss it. If you don't want to start a discussion, post elsewhere or send people emails.

Well very little actually, and when I do it is usually recorded to DVR so I can run past the commercials which drive me batty....

Ugh! Commercials! I FF through those with anything I tape, or on Comcast OnDemand.
