I think we feel like that when we're very depressed and/or anxious. I know when I'm very very depressed, I just CANNOT think clearly or rationally. My thoughts don't flow evenly, and I have a hard time collectiing my thoughts. It seems the only thing I can think of when I'm depressed is how badly I feel.

Today I feel quite good, as I've been thru therapy plus I'm on an antidepressant which keeps me on an even keel. I'm not saying that eveything is perfect, but it's surely alot better than it was! I think more clearly, and it's easier to put a few thoughts together. Perhaps therapy would work for you as well as medication. It sure can't hurt. Talk to your doctor about getting a referral to therapy. he can help you get a good therapist. God bless & good luck! Hugs, Lee

I agree with Leed when I am depressed I can't think straight. Getting enough rest is important too, along with eating right. If I take my B-vitamins that seems to help also!

Is this chronic? the symptoms you describe fit exactly what I have to go through every day. Get more sleep, and make sure you are drinking enough water. I find that dehydration also drains your mental concentration/fortitude.
