Hi everyone, at 7:30 EST (that's a half hour from now) I have a phone interview for a teaching position. I am getting pretty discouraged with the whole job front.
I was hoping you could send some good vibes my way around 7:30. So if you have a moment send me some good mojo, eloquence, or some smarts  . I'll take anything I can get.Thank you so much!

From what I've seen you have plenty of smarts, just review your resume and prep question answers and relax. Remember it's a numbers game that if you keep at will turn your way when you keep adding odds in your favor by doing the prep and follow through work. You can do it! Best wishes~Down |

Interview seemed to go well.
He's calling tomorrow to set up a day next week for me to come in and do a "model lesson". (This would be the next step in the process) Eek.  The teacher required school year is July 17th to June 16th.  Not sure how I feel about that one. But its a job!Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

Grumble grumble grumble. The principal was supposed to call this morning to set up my model lesson next week, however it is almost 3 and still no call. He told me to call him if I hadn't heard from him by 3. Apparently, I was supposed to sit around and wait for him to call.
Did I mention, I hate using the phone? I hate calling people I don't know. I must have some kind of phone phobia. Furthermore, I can't pronounce his last name so how do I ask for him? I don't feel right calling him by his first name. Oy vey.

Ack!!! How frustrating!
I am not a phone person at all ... so I understand on that score. My aunt whom I only see about once every two years, often says "Oy vey" -.... that was a very fond memory. Thank you.
