Temp-to-hire situations can be iffy. Turns out there were a lot of different stories floatin around, and the final truth is they filled the position, corporate didn't want to wait for my contract to run out. So....the agency will try to find something else and I'll be looking. So now not only am I broke, but out of a job....hopefully only temporary. Trying not to feel too frustrated. Luckily it has nothing to do with my health status, as the company never found out about the MS.

Raynaadi -

I am sorry for this temporary set-back.

I will start praying that the door to an even better opportunity opens up for you soon.

What type of work do you do?

Hugs,

EJ

I used to draw blood, then I started working the cytology department making slides and stuff. Might go back to drawing blood, but don't know if my hands work like they used to. Do great in an office setting too, so who knows?

Ray -

Can you take a Medical Assistant's course? At one of my former doctor's office, his Medical Assistant, also drew blood.

They also seem to be drawing blood at hospitals a lot more than they used to. I had foot surgery at a small regional hospital last week, and the first stop was at the lab to draw blood. They did all the analysis (is that the cytology part?) right there too.

Keep us posted.
