I think Josh Groban is more exciting, even if it is a site concerning him that started this!

When you visit a website, the server can tell where you are (from your IP address), what browser you are using and what OS your computer is using. And that's without even trying...it is built in to the server software itself. If they really want to, they can find out just about anything else they want to badly enough.

Not on my computer. I didn't find that box til the very bottom of the first page. Do you believe that there were only 2 visitors from Irag???? Yeah! LOL
Oh, fooey, Girl! It doesn't give screen names! Just the # of visitors from the different country!

My security settings are set on Medium because of the games I play. Suppose one of these days I should buy some instead of going online.

 I allow those sites to blast me LOL but everything evaporates when I close the browser.

McAfee actually doesn't get the highest ratings for security software. They're good, just not the best. Of course, that's a matter of opinion, but that's what my research showed.
Another thing about advertisers, as far as email goes, whenever you sign up for newsletters, fill out surveys, buy stuff, etc., there's a good chance someone's taking notes. There's software that keeps track of what you buy and show interest in, and targets items and services to you that way.

I have used this FREE Cookie Wall for about ten years now.... and I do NOT get spy ware for they (the companies) cannot spy on you if they cannot place a COOKIE on your computer.... check it out.
