Does anyone else feel hypersensitive to the weather changes? Last Winter was a really dark and depressing season for me, and I'm nervous this coming one will be the same...I know my living environment has changed for the better since then, but I feel that it's barely getting cold and I am already becoming agoraphobic, hiding under my pjs and blanket all day...

You may have S.A.D. -- Seasonal Affective Disorder. It affects many people. The seasons change, and so do people's moods.
![]() ![]() So S.A.D. is a real disorder, and perhaps you're affected by it too. It helps to get a special lamp for it that you sit under for only a few minutes a day. I can't ever remember the name of it, but you can get one of them at Bed, Bath & Beyond, if you have one of those near you. I'm sure other places have them too. You can't sit under them for long tho. I wish you the very best. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee

It's not a magic cure, but try and get outside for several minutes a day (20-30minute walk would be great). Even on cloudy days you will get a good dose of sunshine.
![]() And yes, I am in the same boat as you. Starting to dread winter here. |

I get it every year. After the winter equinox has passed I start to get better. That is when the days start to get longer I slowly start to get out of my slump.
