Well, I exercise diligently with brain training exercises on a website called "Lumosity," and it really does help me in many aspects of my life. It can't raise your IQ, but it does enhance day to day living, and it fools me into thinking I'm a little smarter coz I don't call myself an idiot all the time for misplacing those damn, car keys.

Level of smarts, I'm ok with but would really appreciate something to help with memory if it checked out ok. That would help out a lot.

I'd rather take a drug that made me happy.

And we all know how those work out.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

And that has made all the difference.

I would have to do a lot of research first and listen to other's stories. I wish to be smarter, but also have reservations about that. It seems the more I know, the sadder and more bored I become. At the same time, I also feel sadder and bored because I don't have many skills and none that put me at a professional level. (That's why I'm in college now.)

The side effects would be a big wall for me. How common, how negative and how many. But I might chance it if it weren't too serious.

I want a pill that makes me young and sexy.

Excellent, and often overlooked point by those that lounge in coffee houses talking about the evils of big pharma.

I'll have another espresso please!

well, coffee industry is sorta evil and third world exploiting. But there's fair trade coffee. I have yet to hear of fair trade Pharma.

(and see, it's possible differentiate between "evil companies" and evil products. If you read Icarus, you will see that for many the dilema is yes, the drugs I need, at least for now, but gah, the Pharma is still evil. So fair trade Pharma could be good... but how to bring it to life? THere's no fair trade oil either. I guess the big industries ARE evil).

Yes, there are serious downsides which would make it not worthwhile to most people. Even knowing those, I would probably do it.

I would certainly not mass market it for the entire population though. *laughs*

Venus, nope.. I wouldn't. I enjoy the learning process as much as I enjoy knowing anything at all.

It would be like knowing the answer but not understanding how you got there maybe.
