This is a very limited beta where I'm asking folks here who have an interest in rating or reviewing a medication, their psychotherapy, an alternative therapy or treatment, a favorite CD or book to go here:

http://psychcentral.com/reviews/

and check it out. Use your forum username/password to login to the system (although you might already be logged in).

Feedback is appreciated!

Enjoy!

The folks at Psych Central New Rating/Review Feature!!!

Hi Kimmydawn!
This is a really neat feature. I just added a book that I found that has been helpful to me, and hopefully to others.

When I typed in the publisher though, not all of it came up. It should read "Barnes and Noble Inc. by arrangement with The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc." (I'm not sure if I needed to add that last part, just that it is a Barnes and Noble book.)

I also rated it, which I then found out I didn't need to do, since I am the one who submitted it, lol. So maybe the rating part should be edited or deleted? Not sure. Anyway, this is a very neat addition to an already great site!

I dislike the display of titles. Manufacturer's name should not display on product link.

The medications pages numbered links did not always load, instead defaulted to page 1 although I selected page 2, etc.

This is fun. It'd be nice if others would add and rate stuff. It's a nice break from mental health stuff.

Where do we suggest additions to the medication listing?

I have listed the 2 books that many here on Psych Central have heard me speak of on numerous occasions and that have been of great help & wisdom to ME..... they have healed more than the 6-8 years of therapy I paid for - lol.

Great new addition to the site!
I'd also like to add the movies category.
Also, for some reason, I couldn't get the page on medications to move past the first group of alphabetical listing a-b

Love this feature - and of course I would love to see a Movie Section (for those of you that do not know me I run a Movie Theatre)

I love this feature, but I have a question...

I went to the Book area and wanted to add a book, but I couldn't find a link or button for "add a book" or anyting of that nature.

Am I just not seeing it? or is it possible that new members have to wait a certain amount of time before they are allowed to add a book?
