I think we just found a third daughter. I am having too much fun and am too worn out.... wooooo but I am happy. ANd, my 85 year old friend is mad at me, jealous as she wanted me to take her on a 6 hour trip on sunday and I told her no because I have a committment with a 5 year old. I swear she tantrums worse then the little one!!!!!

Have fun and enjoy every moment. I'll bet you'll be worn out when the weekend is over. It'll be a great "worn out" though. a five year old girl

Hugs,

Jan

Jan, I am worn out, my hips hurt and I am squished to a tiny piece of my bed and it's okay with me. She is heavy but really needs that holding. Hubby can do it next week when he is home.

That's an easy request. I want to eat her up. Of course maybe sometime later I will tell you about the many battles we had between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. But THAT I am used to, and I am stubborn! I won the ones that matter.

Hi WiseWoman,

This ought to keep you busy for awhile.

Don't worry about the 85 year old three year old.

Hope any issues this child may have, God will give you the strength to heal.

Hugs,

EJ

Thanks all, We went swimming today and visiting and had 5-6 tantrums and have been pretty demanding, whining, then playing. She has a lot she is trying to figure out. My job is to be consistant and reinforce the good. We are watching a film which is little golden books narrated with paintings. It's at least a twenty year old tape. She is resting now, I needed the rest.

ahhh, no nap and right now she is lying next to me telling me the feelings of the smiley faces. Very cute. She is beyond bright. That she has going for her as her life changes and she has loss to deal with.

It's almost comparable to the birth of a new child and bringing them home for the first time. Tired, yet full of love and very happy. Congrats to you, I'm so happy there are people out there with a heart as large as yours.

You all are so sweet. I went to bed immediately after she left yesterday and stayed there. I was beat. Spoke with workers and made more plans today. She should be here for good in about two weeks.

WW,

I haven't been around for awhile.....I am so happy to hear what is happing with you you. You are such a loving person with a wonderful family to open yourselves to a new member. This is so wonderful & exciting to hear about.

What a blessing you are here for this little 5 year old girl. I am sure that having a wonderful new mother & family like yours will be the best thing that can happen to her too. It does sound like she will be much easier to handle that your 85 year old friend.

Enjoy your time getting to know your new little girl & letting her get to know you. What an exciting thing for your life. It is great that your huge heart is open for children that need a lot of love. She will be so blessed to be your 3rd daughter.

Enjoy,
Debbie

Debbie, you are as usual very kind. She will definately keep me young, help me establish routines for self care time, give me exercise, keep me involved with my community, keep me up on children's literature, eliminate the need for any sleeping meds for me, make it so it doesn't look weird to go to the children's events at local librabries, farms etc with out kids. She is beautiful. This weekend will be different as my family will be here to help. Thank you.
