There should be a trigger on this post.

I love rotties.

I am deeply and desperately sorry for the little girl and most of all, her family!!!

This hurts!

Hey little girl in the high school sweater............................
I remember the article on msn and reading it, the news as well. It is terribly sad. Poor parents and the anguish they will go through to understand how she got out of their site long enough to be attacked by a rotweiller. Those damn things are mean!!! I guess this one was trained inappropriately.

No one wins in this case. The owners of this dog will not only never forget, but will be poor the rest of their lives doing it. The poor animal will be put down, I'm guessing?

first thing is I am offended by your first line of your post. to me that is cold hearted.

I dont know if the parents will sue them or not but they had had 5 complaints on another dog they owned over a 2 yr period. not the rottie. the parents should have been watching her more closely. she had downs syndrome. she was only 5 and was out in the neighborhood away from home like down the street from her house.

sorry if I am taking your first line offensive but I am very sensitive when it comes to children dying.

Such a sad thing to have happened....little girl

I too love rotties, and I know for a fact they can be gentle and loving. Unfortunately, this one was not little girl

My heart goes out to that little girl and her family. So very senseless *sigh* little girl

Hugssss

I think you may have misunderstood my intensions here, but that's not my problem!! I was just saying that I remember the article and reading it. I didn't get the whole picture here. Yes, the parents should have been aware of where the little girl was and watching her close so that she couldn't get outside to wander off.
