Of course I don't mean that the previous world ended and that it's a new world or era for everyone in the world. But I was thinking one day that I could use this to my advantage, and a starting point for my own "new life." There have been things I want to change and improve on, and I guess I'm starting my new years resolutions early. Not that I ever really do that. I have been making these changes and holding up pretty well these past few days. Some things that I have started to change are:

1. Cleaning up around my areas of the house
2. Eating better again
3. Making a new goal to not SI the whole year of 2013 (and I have already stopped for the past couple months)
4. Cleaning to make room for the exercise bike to be put into my room so I can exercise more, but haven't started that yet

I am taking these changes very slow. I don't want to feel overwhelmed. I didn't suddenly clean my whole house in one day. The first day I did 1/2 of my side of our room. The second day I started on a pile of junk in the office. I don't want to burn out. I don't want this to be another futile attempt to get my life together. I don't want to make too many changes at once. But I am feeling pretty good about the progress so far. Thanks for reading this.

I think that your approach to change is sound, and I sincerely hope that your efforts are rewarded.

Nice work!

I think this is the best possible meaning for a new era. A new era for you. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I am feeling so great tonight! I got the rest of my side of the room all clean and ready for the exercise bike, and my boyfriend thinks it is enough room for it. Tomorrow he is going to the storage unit to get the potato smasher so he can make lapscaus (a traditional christmas meal for his family) and I asked him if he would bring the exercise bike home too. So excited! I am on a roll. Tonight, even though its christmas eve, I have got more things to do. I have to make my boyfriend's mom a christmas card, and clean both rat cages, and take a shower. Then I may finally actually go to sleep, even though I don't feel tired at ALL. This might be an all-nighter guys. It's supposed to snow tomorrow too. A white christmas! How about that for kansas.
