So, from my own experience and from what I've heard from some of the other members here is that it seems pretty common for us to have trouble rewarding ourselves for things we do well, or right, or what have you. I think most of us tend to dwell on the things we do wrong and beat ourselves up. This is something I'm currently working on in T, and struggling a little. I was thinking maybe we could come up with a list of ideas of rewards.

So, here it is. What do you do to reward yourself? If you don't reward yourself, what are some things that would make good rewards for you that maybe you could start using?

If I have the money, I reward myself with a good cup of coffee and a snack from my favorite cafe. If I don't have the money, I reward myself by letting myself sleep in on the weekends.

i don't reward myself every day, but what i did (i got this off some which she does) is always do something special for yourself on mondays.

it's called be good to yourself mondays, and it's meant to ease you in to the week

I do not make a conscious effort to reward myself. Maybe I should?

I will reward myself with a hot luxurious bath, video game sessions, walks outside in the country, buying something small for myself (usually pencils, pens, guitar picks, art-related things)...Or I will just say a good old affirmation to myself a few times (whether I believe it or not) "I did well today, I'm happy with myself." "I am growing and learning and that's pretty cool of me." "Today I did awesome!" Okay it sounds cheesy as hell but for all the negative self-talk in my head it makes a big difference.
