arrggg!!!!!

their is a war going on in my shared house at the moment, the guy upstairs woke everyone at 8 am this morning by playing his drums, again, and is still playing them 4 hrs later,
the guy who lives in the room next to me has retalliated by playing linking park's numb on repeat for the last 3 hours on full blast with his door wide open,

i have my tv on full volume, iam sat less than 5 foot away and am still struggleing to hear it, i am going to have to link my amplifier back up to the tv to drown them both out, it is just pure white noise in here at the moment!!!

last time this happened it took a couple of days to calm back down, i really dont need this at the moment

Isn't there anyone in authority you could talk to about this? At the very least, you could call the cops maybe. It's ridiculous that you should have to put up with this.

i am not allowed to contact the landlord directly anymore, i have tryed getting in contact with the mental health team who run this place, they are not interested, they said they will send someone down to sort it out, i am not holding my breath, they never gave a time, or day come to think of it.

the police are a waste of time right now, there is no law saying you cant play loud music during the day, that doesnt work until 9pm when the local council can come and confiscate the stereo equiptment, they are not that brave, it would cause a riot.

Oh no!!!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry. I can't imagine having to put up with noise like that. Perhaps you could call the people back who are in charge and ask what day and when they will be there. It might cause someone to show up, whether they like it or not.

the police were called last night, not because of the noise, the guy next door to me snapped and beat up the guy upstairs and smashed his drum kit up, i didnt know whether to shake his hand or what,

i did take the computer speakers next door borrowed back, he had them plugged into his tv via a jack lead, so the police would not confiscate them, so if he wants to play load music now he has only got the tv speaker to use, i should get some peace and quite now

Sorry it had to end like that, but I'm glad you will at least get some peace now!

thanks mp, the cleaners are in now making repairs to the building, they even broke the kettle so no coffee for me today (weeps uncontrolably) lol.

with a bit of luck 1 or both of them will be relocated

I'm glad it's resolved, but I should think you could have the police ticket or arrest them for disturbing the peace.

it is not worth the hassle it will generate maven, knowing my luck if one of them gets moved out the other will bear a grugde against me, i really dont need that at the moment, i dont want to be sectioned again.

neither of them have returned to the house since last night when the police turned up. so i dont know whether they are in custody or in hospital, this is a mental health facility/boarding house so it could be either.

i'm thinking you need some great ear plugs for times like this.

i'm so sorry about the coffee. i would be so grumpy in that situation!!!!!

You see, DSF, there is boo, which is bad, very boo wish is a lot worse and then most boo, which is as bad as it can get!
