I am 27 years old, from the state of Washington.

I have pretty severe driving phobia. I can be a passenger, but being behind the wheel causes me to have panic attacks which would be very dangerous.

However, I am able to drive a motorcycle. I am comfortable operating them and driving them in traffic.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a motorcycle endorsement without the need of a driver's license? I do not think I will be able to pass a driving test in a car.

Any suggestions?

Slomomo, in my state a motorcycle licens is totally separate from a driver's license. You have to have a special motorcycle license in order to operate one. I believe you can get a motorcycle license without having a driver's license. Maybe your state is similar?
Thanks for this!

slowmomo I do believe that a drivers licence and a motorcycle licence are two different things. You don't have to have either to operate a moped. Thats awesome you and motorcycles. That would make your life so much easier if you could get out a little.

Let us know what you find out about the law in your state.
Thanks for this!

Check out the link ~ it answers your Q about obtaining your motorcycle license in Wa. state. Please be sure to wear full gear and helmet every time you're driving. Best wishes to you!

I know a few people who don't drive. But there is always public transport.
I thinks its cool that you can ride a motor bike. What about one of those three wheeler things like Billy Connelly uses. That would be more stable and more visible on the road.
