Why was I so outgoing before I was 14?!!

I know that I have depression and possible OCD but my god.. I used to swim in puddles.. Now Im cold hearted, quiet, suicidal and less intelligent.. (in terms of not trying), have absolutely no energy any more. I'm almost 17 now. Maybe meth?! No? Aaaaah

Yknow what.. I think that depression might be a key to meditating properly. Never tried it but I do know that many people have been trying to do it right for years..

+1 for the D on that one
-4,999,999,999,999,999,999 for everything else..
Thanks for this!

Go to a doctor and get checked out. There are lots of factors that could be influencing your behaviour or lack of it. Depression is not the key to meditation. Depression is an illness.

for me I never wondered about why I wasnt outgoing... everyone is different even among completely normal children some are outgoing and some are shy, or introverted..

sometimes shy/ introverted children when they go through puberty become outgoing and sometimes outgoing/extroverted children hit the teen age/puberty years and become shy and introverted.

the puberty years are full of a changing body where everything that makes up a person is changing, sometimes those bodily changes, physically, emotionally and sexually cause teen agers to feel many thingas like fatigue, sadness, confusion, rebellion... some dont get a handle on all these changes and side effects from all the changes until they are between the ages of 21-25.

my suggestion if this continues to bother you contact your medical doctor. they will be able to explain more about why a 17 yr old will feel like you do during these developmental years. they can also help you to discover whether you have more serious problems that may be causing these symptoms like anemia, sleep deprivation depression or any physical or mental health issues.

I just went back and read your past posts. I wanted to tell you that by reading your past posts I see that you know yourself very well and articulate amazingly for a 17 yr old.. and also if you are doing drugs like you hinted in this post then yes drugs like meth can cause people to feel the way you do..

there are places that can help you get cleaned up with you are ready. your medical doctor or a school teacher, school nurse, school psychologist can help you with this.

Could be hormones, who knows? We're pretty fearfully and wonderfully made but there's a lot that can go wrong with a body? If I were you, I'd be curious what I'd be like when I was say 22 or 23, well over the majority of the hormone/growing up situation.

I don't think it is puberty (maybe some factors)..

I feel like this is how I will feel for the rest of my life.. I just feel like moving to a cabin in Alaska and start hunting for the next 40-50 years..
