Anyone have experience with or otherwise able to recommend an online personal health record service, such as Microsoft HealthVault or Dossia, etc?

I want to sign up to begin using a PHR but first would like to know where forum members stand on them. Thanks. Alex.

I am not familiar with them, but perhaps if we are patient, someone will sooner or later post here who does know about them.

Thanks, Payne. Well, like many of us, I've had to learn patience... what with the time frame most meds require before you even have a clue they're going to work for you. But that's an off-topic rant I guess. ;-) Will poke around the web some more and check back here...

Would it be frowned upon to ask this question in a heavily posted area, IE, the Depression forum? Don't wanna get shooed away for being a clumsy poster, hehe.

I could build you one... but not.... If, as a student... YOU need to figure it out. LOL

Hehe, well, I know I could just enter all my med records into any word processor or whatever but am hoping to find something constructed for the purpose, maybe in some standardized format that can tie into software that the newer clinics and hospitals are using... at least, that's what I've read about... my clinic is fairly tech-oriented but they don't implement things yet like patient access to their own files, online appointment setting etc. etc. Probably gonna give HealthVault a look though I'm tired of Microsoft EVERYTHING if you know what I mean. Peace. Alex.

I've looked at a couple, but at the end of the day I decided I didn't want to trust them with my information. Maybe I'll change my mind later. You might have already seen it, but you can look up a few here: Choose a PHR

Also, Google discontinued their service.
