I'm confused a lot of the time when I'm awake and have a lot of trouble making simple decisions... I feel like an empty shell a lot I guess. Its so hard living like this.. like a drone. I wish I wasn't so confused and scatterbrained all the time and had more motivation for life..

i get confused a lot. and am very unmotivated.

my confusion is real but my family
members think im faking.

my confusion mostly lies in understanding the english language and understand peoples speech.

in turn many people cannot understand mine so they get a taste of the same medicine

It sounds like depression to me. Have you gone in to see a doctor yet? If so, did you fully describe these experiences to him/her? If not, I'd recommend starting there. They can also refer you to a T that the doctor believes would be appropriate to help you work through issues that may be causing your emotional misery.

Very best wishes to you!

Sounds like symptoms of depression. I got curious the other day, and found out that according to the Mayo Clinic, depression can do that to you. You may want to speak with a psychiatrist about your symptoms and seek treatment.

For me confusion goes along more with anxiety than depression -- they often go together, for understandable reasons. It seems to me to reflect opposition to your thoughts that was made by others when you were young, which has become thoroughly intrenched in your mind now.

depression causes cognitive problems, so sure, get checked out, and, as SHEZBUT says, describe your confusion to the doctor in detail, so that he/she understands what you are going through.

the good part is that depression is treatable
