I don't really know where to talk about my issues, so I just whine here really. I was just pacing and obsessing as I always do, going through my mind and determining my flaws, determining what diagnosis these flaws belong; and then changing my mind in twenty minutes. I do it every second of every day, even now actually. I'm thinking about how I've asked for more help than I given on this site, and therefore I must be a narcissist. I must be abusive, angry and have no empathy, I must be proud of being a monster. Later on I'll see or do something that'll make me feel guilty and I'll change my mind. I'll say I felt guilt but I'm still an attention seeker, I must have borderline personality disorder. But I'm not impulsive, though I'm feeling empty, it must be depression. But I feel good about myself, I must think I'm the best and therefore I am not depressed but a narcissist. This cycles just keep going on and on, I just don't know anymore. I'm just tired. I don't even know what I'm asking.
Hugs from:

Stop trying to psychoanalyze yourself ...

... And learn Qi Gong.

You're not a narcissist.
Thanks for this!

I would but I can't, it just forces it's way in. It won't leave me alone and it won't go away. What is Qi Gong, meditation, philosophy?

There's a reason why they tell aspiring psychologists and therapists to never apply their knowledge to themselves or family ... Because you'll start to see every symptom and behavioral oddity as a sign of mental illness ... And it will drive you insane.

That's where Qi Gong comes in. Qi Gong is the practice of balancing one's qi. And qi ... Well, I don't quite know what it is. But it is simply ****ing amazing. Anyway ... A part of the practice involves training one's focus, which I think will be incredibly helpful in your case. It's also very calming. Centering.

Side note ... Why qi is amazing:

Mind racing all the time? Most people have that issue.

Perhaps some exercise would help? Just a suggestion.
Thanks for this!

One of my first jobs was in a psych hospital. The staff would meet daily with the residents and the residents would talk about how they were feeling, if they felt they were getting better, etc. I listened to a person describe their symptoms and I would think that I had their illness. Then we would move on to the next person and the same thing would happen. Within the first week I decided I was schizophrenic, manic depressive and had borderline personality disorder. Shortly I came to understand that we all have these same feelings all the time. It is the degree of our feelings and our way of dealing with them that make the difference. You are probably quite normal. Try to think about other things. Take a cooking class or an art class or do something creative. That should keep your mnd busy and help you relax.
