I know that no one can properly diagnose me apart from a professional but I just wanted to know if anyone could help. Basically, I don't know what's wrong with me. I know I'm not normal but really don't want to seek professional help, yet it's now affecting my life badly. My (long) list of symptoms that I can remember-
I hate social situations
I hate contact with people
I feel but don't express emotion
I cannot talk to new people (I freeze)
In social situations I tremble, shake, feel cold, feel sick and sweat
My hair has began to fall out and I feel regularly sick
I have a fear of people surrounding me
I cannot handle people singing to me (Even on Birthdays)
I hate myself sometimes
I feel inadequet
I get angered very easily
I fantasise alot in stressful situations
And I have failed my English speaking assignment because I could not bring myself to talk infront of an audience (as it made me sick and shake just at the thought of it).
If I could have some help it would be extremely appreciated.

Most of what you describe fits into social anxiety. Google it. What do you think?

"I know that no one can properly diagnose me apart from a professional but"

Sorry no buts, we cannot diagnose you and using google for any diagnosis is filled with mine fields.

We can chat with you and talk about issues and have lots to offer but it cannot take the place of professional assistance.

Hair falling out can be called alopaecia (sorry dont know how to spell it) BUT..... sounds like you need real help and you need to get it in real life.

Please see a doctor for help and you may also need therapy to get the help you need.

Take care.

I agree we are in no position to diagnose. That said, what you are telling us is basically the surface symptoms you have, there can be many reasons for these to occur (for example, traumatic experience like PTSD, perhaps repressed memories, or obsessions, e.t.c. - your fears can be rooted in another disorder entirely). Your best bet would be to overcome your fear of seeing a professional.

It really sounds, to me, that you need to see a medical doctor. You have symptoms that are physical as well as psychological.

you are right we can not diagnose you..all we can tell you is if we have had these problems and what they were called in ourselves...my treatment providers called these symptoms by many names depending upon the accompanying symptoms..lack of sleep, medication, bipolar disorder, depression, stress, psychosis, hallucinations, delusions...the list goes on with in me.

if you google each of these symptoms each one would come back being over a million different mental and physical problems.

the only way for you to know what is going on is if you see a treatment provider in your off line location.
