On the topic of weird weather, we've got a tornado warning tonight (in Ottawa). Who'd of thunk it?

We've got a really bad thunderstorm right now, and high temperatures for the past few days, but a TORNADO?!

I think everything will be fine, but the power better not go off ... I hate that sort of thing.

Is it a reasonable result of a series of hot days and thunderstorms to develop into a tornado?

Sorry, I'm just confused ... a tornado warning is a new thing for me

Sorry canders! Make a beeline for the tub, or basement if you have one! If you hear a freight train chugging,,run for one of them! Hope it passes soon.

Thanks Sky, and thanks Mel

**hugs** Suppose it was a quick thing for this area, we've just been told that we should expect bad thunderstorms tonight, but no tornado ... other areas, not sure about. Still pretty bad.

Just in case it crosses your mind, take my advice: Don't try to catch a ride on the tornado! It's just not a good idea. Trust me. Tornado warning (and other bad weather)

I hope you and everyone is safe Christina. I have just been through a very severe storm and flooding but nothing as critical as a tornado.

My thoughts to all.
