I am so sorry your having to deal with the bad weather also. Do what you have to to keep safe. And have your flashlights, candles, battery operated radio all that stuff on hand just in case. And Bottled water if possible. I am terrified of bad winds and tornado's .And when I hear of severe weather happening.. I gather up stuff in a laundry basket and keep in the spot that I will be at for the duration of the storm. Which is usually my basement lol. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care.And keep us posted as to how you are doing. Hugz Bethy

we can get tail ends of some weather from uk
we had tail end of a huricane a few years bk while we were camping i got my candles lighter in a box by the comp

Good for you guys to keep those things handy!! I am not sure of what all gale winds can entale.. but if they do bring tornado's have pillow and blanket handy also to cover up your heads and bodies for protection of any glass that might shatter etc. And dont forget clean undies too!! LOL Sorry mom always told me about that one lol!!!

This is a sattelite image if you look waaaaaaaaaay up north.. you can see what the UK is getting now. It does look kinda like the storm that we had here Friday night thru Saturday afternoon . You can also click the buttons up top to play it so you can see how it moves in over the past couple hours.

{{{{{{{{{{UK members}}}}}}}}}} Holding you in our thoughts Remember to fill some water containers & hot water in thermos flasks too, if you have them. Hot water bottles will keep you warm for ages too, if you tuck them under the blankets. Good luck, everyone.

Well I in the north of England didn't get the worst of the storm... they have it quite bad in the south, winds of over 80 mph
 and power is down in some areas too...

Glad you are ok silver. It's still blowin a hoolie here and there is still a weather warning for the day. My phone line is playing up again. So my connection is pretty crappy.My chickens are dying to get out of their hut but I daren't let them out in case they get blown away!

I haven't heard from Fuzzy, but I think she'll be ok, she isn't near the coast.
And please keep safe everyone, the weather forecast says that's it going to get even windier yet (doesn't give the timescale though lol)
