I rarely enjoy a visit to DHS but I had to go get a new Medicaid card...for what I don't understand but got a letter saying go get it so I did. Anyway while I was there I saw a poster about something called Lifeline. I have SBC as my phone company and because I am on goverment services I can get a break on my phone bill. The letter says as low as $5.42 a month. Just a thought for those of you on assistance you might check with your DHS office to see if your state offers something similar. Never know it could save money.

I get Lifeline, too. It's really good to have.
