|
Bill isn't a candidate for a transplant any longer. His condition has improved enough that for now, meds are going to be the primary course of action.......to say that we are happy is the understatement of the year..........the new doctor was unbelievable!

this woman knew things that had never been mentioned to him and put him on the meds that we had researched. said it was the right match for him.........dialysis isn't out, for the future.....but that's a leap from waiting for a transplant!! i've finally quit bawling............p

the first doctor got pissy when bill said he wanted a second opinion........that is an alarm right there......so two opinions later, the good news is that other things can be done without having to have either dialysis, this year, or a transplant.......
always get a second opinion, or a third, if you have the least bit of a gut feeling that something might be amiss with the first physician. i'll say this for my ex......he encouraged his patients when they suggested it. ethics, ethics, ethics.....(okay, not in marriage...just medicine...  )

I agree about the second opinions... it nearly backfired on me once though, with my dad... but he was with a level 4 brain tumor so... sigh..
This is such good news!!! So when is the wedding??????
