1. Throw out non-essential numbers. This includes age, weight and height.
2. Keep only cheerful friends.
3. Keep learning more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And spend time with those who make you laugh.
6. If the tears do happen, endure, grieve and move on. Live while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it is family, pets, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

Sabrina--I like a lot of what you said, but I don't think could make it with only cheerful friends.

You know, I thought about that as I typed it and realised that there are many days when I am not cheerful, let alone any friends. A couple of thoughts

Great list. I especially need to live today & let go of the guilt & shame I feel from past events. Thanks for reminding me what a gift today is. I feel good today.

I agree whole heartedly with #10 - for you NEVER KNOW when that "moment"
will be the last time you ever hold them again, hear their voice or see them smile............. A couple of thoughts

I kind of take the "cheerful friends" one to mean don't hang around people who are constantly negative, don't want anyone to be happy if they can't be happy types of people.

Sabrina, those are all really good things to think about. A couple of thoughts
