My therapist gave me a referral to someone who specializes in learning disabilities. I was telling her how I didn't like to read because I didn't retain anything and the way the light hit the page gave me headaches. I am skeptical that I have dyslexia, and I know that there is no scientific test for it or anything. I thought I would ask some people in real life about their experiences with it. So my question is, to those of u who have it... What does reading look like/feel like to u?

I had hardest time learning to read and write.

I read quite well now though, although I am by no means fast reader. There some techniques of covering the half of the line or something which I do in first grade to help me read. I don't remember really though, it's long time ago.
