I had a used recliner given to me my a friend - a dirty, musty-smelling recliner. (I've needed an armchair or recliner for a big empty spot in my living room since I moved here, 2 years ago) I wasn't sure what to clean it with, or if I could find a slipcover that would fit it, but I hunted (on line and off). I found a great upholstery cleaner at the hardware store. It not only cleaned off all the (black) dirt (I think it sat in somebody's garage for a few months...), but took away the musty smell. Then I put the slipcovers on. They fit like a glove! Happiness? Is that it??? Velour. Soooo soft. I sat in it, with a cat on my lap, and, after a few minutes, found myself puzzled. I couldn't figure out what it was I was feeling, but it felt good. I'm so unaccustomed to feeling happy, I didn't even recognize it! Happiness? Is that it??? Happiness? Is that it??? But, I sat there and felt happy, for a little while! Comfortable, safe, satisfied (my work to clean it off & cover it paid off big time)

How do you like THAT??? Happiness? Is that it???(Now all I have to do is convince the cat that it's MY chair. She's laid claim to it... Happiness? Is that it??? )

I hope you are able to reclaim your new chair. It sounds wonderfully comfy. Enjoy!

I know what's it's like to have that feeling and no realize what it is. I puzzled about it for a long time before it finally dawned on me that it was ...... happiness!

I'm so glad you have found happiness and I hope you and the cat enjoy the wonderful comfy recliner.

Hugs,

Jan
