Being new here, I am trying to do the correct thing regarding posting in the correct 'spot' ... But, what if ...

I know that I have several things wrong, I have a feeling that my daughter is suffering from some mental effected trauma, and I would like to delve into the behaviour of my ex/her father, in order to get some sanity from his actions...

But, naming each and every thing ... is impossible for me!!

I dont want to go over board and analyze every feeling right down to the last dot... but I am really keen to know if our things are actually REAL things... or are they just my imagination?

How can I know?

Can you be a little more specific? Your Q is much too vague for me. Sorry.

unfortunately the only way you will know whether the problems are your imagination or not is if you contact your own treatment providers. we do not diagnose each others problems in other words we do not tell each other whether their problem is in their heads or not. that goes against the rules here.

what we do here is support.

for some people that means reading someones post and clicking on the hugs button to give the poster a hug,

for some it just means posting a few smilies or a post to let the poster know they are being listened to.

for others that means we post whether we have gone through the same thing and what ....our own treatment providers....have called the problem in us and what ...our own treatment providers and we are doing about that problem.

the way this site is set up all posts must support the person with the problem not tell them things like...this is your imagination...

we can tell you things like whether the same problem you are having was our imagination when it was happening to us.

the down fall is that there are many people here with many mental, physical and normal problems. that means you are going to get posts saying the same problem you are having may have been someones hallucination, delusion psychosis, mania, depression, sleep problem and many others things depending upon what each members problem was in them..

in other words you wont get any definite answers here other than what you decide for your self and what your own treatment providers tell you the problem is in you , to find that out you will need to contact your own treatment providers.

i try to remember that a label is just a handle, a creative short-cut to conversations. the label is only good for a few things, not really for much. perhaps it would do you good to consider what you would like to see being done differently in your life, and the lives of those you care about, and focus on that?

best wishes~
Gus

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
