I was a little late in calling her, sorry about that gang. She sounds like a very sweet person, just like I imagined she would. She was in very good spirits, but of course said she was having pain and discomfort. She said it took about 5 hours longer than normal for her to come out of anesthesia, she really had a rough time with it. I read everyone's message to her, and she cried, assuring me they were happy tears. She said that we all are so much like real family to her. We talked a little more getting to know each other better, and then she had to go to get her vitals taken.
She really does sound like she came thru everything great. I'm very relieved. I'll call her again in a few days and check on her, maybe Sunday. Heather is such a sweet person. Tell her that I said hi and I hope she's feeling better real soon. I miss her being here.

Thank you ever so much for keeping us updated..
Tell her she is in my thougts and prayers and we so dearly miss her.. Greg, have you talked to Heather yesterday or today? I'm wondering if her discharge is still a "go" for tomorrow.

I will pass along all the messages she'll love it. I know she'll love the poetry! All I know about her discharge date is that she was to be in for five days. Now I don't know if that included the surgery day or not. So it will either be tomorrow or Monday for sure. Instead of calling direct, I'll call the main number and she if she's been discharged first. I'll let you know SC. I was planning on calling tomorrow. She's been getting a lot of phone calls and I don't want to overload her.

hehehe I've been wondering if the discharge date is Sunday or Monday, too.
