I was in support chat earlier tonight. Everyone was very caring and supportive. I'm afraid my "issue" was much too heavy and may have left people feeling triggered. I found I was getting confused with the cross talk that happens in chat and after a while I left. I'm sorry if I triggered anyone or hurt any feelings. I feel ashamed that I brought up the subject I did. I'm very sorry.

Hi Calista,

Support chat is available to discuss various issues and I think that people should be aware of the possibility that they might be triggered by certain issues or topics. They should distant themselves in that case from those discussions. Besides, you can't foresee all possible triggers for others either.
It's great that you experienced a caring and very supportive input from others in chat.

Calista, if someone is triggered NY something you say, IMO its their responsibility to handle themselves. Not yours.

There are a few topics that get discussed in chat that trigger me, so I just find a different chat, or pm someone for a private chat, and try to figure out why it triggered me.

what do NY and IMO mean? otherwise i agree with u. lately i've been triggered w/o knowing what happened. my therapist has offered to start emdr with me this wk. . she is certified, but i am a little afraid. Sorry, didn't mean to get off the subject. i was motivated to reply by your, reply by your note, "ready to give up", . i am feeling that way too lately, i even wrote a note on here & lost it earlier. my computer isI want to appologize and explain screwing up. i sure hope i don't lose this before i send it so i'll send it. now

Just me trying to type on my phone. NY is supposed to be by, and IMO is in my opinion. The NY was a typo and the IMO is just short hand.

Don't give up the fight. I know I won't. I try to always remember that there is always something worth sticking around for.

Although I've heard of emdr, I have no experience with it. My t wants me to do dbt but I can't.

Just stick around life can s**k for awhile, but in my experience it can also get better
