I've actually tried this (I used to live in Pennsylvania). While the mulch smelled AWESOME, especially on a sunny day, I'd say it isn't really worth the money. It was too light -- it tended to blow away when it was windy. If I were to try it again, I'd maybe just mix it with regular bark mulch, to get the benefit of the smell plus some different nutrients, maybe 1 cocoa mulch : 4 bark mulch.

Smells great, though!

We are ALL going to be a-ok!

Now, the "dog news" say to try not to use "coco mulch" cause they want to eat it due to it's awsome scent, hell my crazy dog eats either, ha!ha!
LMo, you are right to say it blows away, and is expensive, maybe it is fine for a small spanse but hard wood shredded mulch, weaver's mulch, or licorice root mulch (pricey like coco mulch) seems to be less inviting to our pets (flavour) vs conventinional mulch.
Whatever, I love my dog and I love chocolate
