Tomorrow is my first PBL meeting as Parlimentarian. I get put into my role and I guess its a big thing. Anyway its my turn to get the guest speaker and such and my advisor did that for me. But my scary part is I have to introduce them. My knees were a knocking when I had to get up and give my speech to get votes and now I have to get up again. I am scared to death. How do I do this? I don't even know much about the group Mrs. Mount got for the speaker. Its a group from one of the high schools around here that does competions on Parlimentary Procedure. That's all I know. Now my insecurities are coming up again and I hate that!!!

BREATH for starters kiddo. You can do it. Write down what you have to say. Take your time. Think of it as exciting, cause, it is!!! Good Luck.

Believe in yourself janniebug. You would not have been appointed the task if they didn't believe you could do it!

I got up there said my intro and sat down. My knees were a knockin but everyone said I did great. At the end of the meeting there was a thing that happened that I should have stood up and said Point of Order but by the time I realized it everyone was leaving and the meeting was over but I went to the president the one that made the mistake and told him what he did.

I'm so glad to hear you survived the public speach thing! So many of us always believe that we won't! But you are living proof that it is not such a fatality!
